A Biblical Approach to Medical Decisions
TRUTH CARRIERS EDUCATION SYSTEM
This workbook is for educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical or legal advice. The information presented comes from official government sources (FDA, CDC, DOJ) and peer-reviewed research. Always consult qualified healthcare providers and legal professionals for personal decisions.
The goal is informed consent - providing documented facts so individuals can make their own medical decisions according to their faith, conscience, and personal research before Yahuah.
Sources: All statistics and claims in this workbook are drawn from FDA package inserts, CDC VAERS database, DOJ settlement records, HRSA VICP data, peer-reviewed studies, and official government documents. Source citations are provided throughout.
This workbook uses the 6 Rs Learning Method designed for deep understanding and long-term retention. Each lesson includes all six components:
Review this section before beginning the lessons. Return to it as a reference throughout your study.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Informed Consent | The principle that patients must receive full disclosure of risks, benefits, and alternatives before any medical procedure |
| VAERS | Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System - passive surveillance system co-managed by CDC and FDA since 1990 |
| VICP | Vaccine Injury Compensation Program - no-fault system for compensating vaccine injuries since 1986 |
| CICP | Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program - program for COVID-19 vaccine injuries under PREP Act |
| NCVIA | National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 - granted liability protection to vaccine manufacturers |
| PREP Act | Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act - provides immunity for COVID countermeasures |
| EUA | Emergency Use Authorization - allows use of unapproved medical products during declared emergencies |
| Pharmakeia (φαρμακεία) | Greek word translated "sorcery" in Scripture - root of "pharmacy"; includes drugs/potions in pagan/occult practices |
| Natural Immunity | Protection developed after recovering from infection; includes T-cell and B-cell memory response |
| Excipient | Inactive ingredient in a vaccine or drug (adjuvants, preservatives, stabilizers) |
| Cell Line | Cultured cells descended from an original tissue sample, used to grow viruses for vaccines |
| Adjuvant | Substance added to vaccines to enhance immune response (e.g., aluminum salts) |

| Objection | Response |
|---|---|
| "You're anti-science" | We cite official sources: FDA package inserts, CDC VAERS, DOJ settlements, peer-reviewed studies. Questioning one product is not rejecting science. |
| "Vaccines saved millions" | We support informed consent, not prohibition. Many vaccines have helped, but that doesn't mean all are equally safe or that questioning is wrong. |
| "VAERS reports don't prove causation" | Correct - but the Harvard Pilgrim study showed <1% reporting. If 20,000 deaths are reported and only 1% are captured, the real number is alarming. |
| "Cell lines are from decades ago" | The original abortions occurred in 1962 and 1966. Some see ongoing use as perpetuating the wrong; others don't. It's a matter of conscience. |
| "Natural immunity isn't as good" | Multiple studies (Israeli, Cleveland Clinic) showed natural immunity was 13x more protective. CDC ignored this evidence for mandates. |

The concept of the body as a temple carries profound implications for medical decisions. When Yahuah declares our bodies temples of His Spirit, He establishes:
Informed consent is not just a legal right - it is a spiritual responsibility. We cannot properly steward what Yahuah has entrusted to us without full knowledge of what we put into our bodies. As Romans 14:5 teaches: "Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."
In Revelation 18:23, the Greek word φαρμακεία (pharmakeia) is translated "sorcery." This is the root of our modern words "pharmacy" and "pharmaceutical."
In the ancient world, pharmakeia referred to:
This does not mean all medicine is evil. Yahuah created healing plants and gave wisdom for healing. But it calls us to discernment - to examine what we allow into our temples and to not blindly trust any industry or institution that operates outside of Yahuah's principles.
After the Nazi medical experiments were exposed at the Nuremberg trials, the world established ethical principles for human experimentation. These principles remain the foundation of medical ethics today:
Source: Nuremberg Military Tribunal, 1947 - "Permissible Medical Experiments"
Were these principles fully honored during recent mass vaccination campaigns? Were people given full information about risks? Were they truly free to decline without coercion, job loss, or social exclusion?
1. According to 1 Corinthians 6:19, our bodies are described as:
2. The Greek word "pharmakeia" in Revelation 18:23 is translated as:
3. The Nuremberg Code was established in what year, and after what event?
5. Match each Scripture reference with its teaching:
6. How does understanding your body as a "temple of the Ruach HaKodesh" change your approach to medical decisions? What questions might you ask before any medical procedure, and why is informed consent both a legal right and a spiritual responsibility?
"Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Ruach HaKodesh who is in you, whom you have from Elohim, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify Elohim in your body."

These facts come from official FDA package inserts. The purpose is not to tell you what to decide, but to ensure you have accurate information from authoritative sources to make your own informed decision according to your faith and conscience before Yahuah.
| Ingredient | Purpose | Concerns Raised |
|---|---|---|
| Aluminum salts | Adjuvant - enhances immune response | Neurotoxicity concerns at accumulated doses |
| Formaldehyde | Inactivates viruses/detoxifies toxins | Known carcinogen (residual amounts) |
| Polysorbate 80 | Emulsifier/stabilizer | May increase blood-brain barrier permeability |
| Bovine serum | Growth medium for cell cultures | Animal-derived product concerns |
| Antibiotics | Prevents bacterial contamination | Allergy concerns (neomycin, streptomycin) |
| Gelatin | Stabilizer | Pork-derived; religious concerns |
| MSG (glutamate) | Stabilizer | Neurotoxicity concerns |
Some believers have religious objections to vaccines developed or tested using fetal cell lines from abortions. Others argue the original tissue is from decades ago. What factors would you consider?

2. Vero cells, used in polio and other vaccines, come from:
3. What is the purpose of aluminum salts in vaccines?
4. Match each cell line with its origin:
5. Some believers have religious objections to using medical products developed with fetal cell lines from abortions. Others argue the original tissue was obtained decades ago. What factors would you consider in forming your own conviction before Yahuah? How does Hosea 4:6 ("My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge") apply to informed consent?

| If VAERS Reports... | Actual Events Could Be... | Implication |
|---|---|---|
| 20,000 deaths | Up to 2,000,000 deaths | Real deaths may be 100x higher than reported |
| 1.5 million adverse events | Up to 150 million events | Actual injuries far exceed what's captured |
| 1+ million COVID adverse events | Up to 100+ million events | True scope unknown due to underreporting |
1. VAERS was established in what year and is managed by which agencies?
2. According to the Harvard Pilgrim study funded by HHS, what percentage of vaccine adverse events are reported to VAERS?
3. What is true about VAERS and causation?
4. Match each statistic with the correct number:
5. The Harvard Pilgrim study demonstrated severe underreporting in VAERS, yet HHS did not engage with the project after the pilot phase. Why do you think this happened? If we cannot accurately measure vaccine injuries, how can we truly have "informed consent"?

Why it passed: By the mid-1980s, lawsuits over DTP vaccine injuries were threatening the vaccine supply. Manufacturers told Congress they would stop making vaccines unless protected from liability. Congress chose to protect the manufacturers rather than address the safety concerns.

If vaccines are "safe and effective," why do manufacturers need complete liability protection? Why did they threaten to stop production unless shielded from lawsuits? And why is it so difficult to receive compensation through CICP compared to VICP?
1. The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act was passed in what year?
2. The CICP approval rate for COVID vaccine injury claims is approximately:
3. How much has VICP paid out in total since 1988?
4. Match each program/act with the correct description:
5. If vaccines are truly "safe and effective," why did manufacturers demand and receive liability protection in 1986? What does $5.4 billion in VICP payouts tell us about vaccine safety? How does Proverbs 11:1 about "false balances" apply to this system?

What I learned or experienced:
Yahuah designed the human immune system with remarkable complexity and adaptability. When we recover from an infection, our bodies develop multiple layers of protection:
| Component | Function | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Antibodies | Proteins that bind to and neutralize specific pathogens | Months to years (varies) |
| B-Cell Memory | Cells that remember how to quickly produce antibodies | Years to decades |
| T-Cell Memory | Cells that directly recognize and destroy infected cells | Years to decades |
| Mucosal Immunity | Protection at entry points (nose, throat, lungs) | Varies; key for preventing transmission |
Natural immunity typically develops protection at mucosal surfaces (where infection starts), while injected vaccines primarily stimulate systemic (blood) antibodies. This may explain why natural immunity often provides broader, longer-lasting protection.

Question: If policy ignores science when inconvenient, is the goal really "following the science"?
1. The Israeli study (Gazit et al.) found that natural immunity was how many times more protective than vaccination against Delta?
2. The Cleveland Clinic study found how many reinfections in the previously infected group over 10 months?
3. Which type of immunity provides protection at mucosal surfaces (nose, throat) where infection begins?
4. Match each immune system component with its function:
5. Why do you think US policy ignored the scientific evidence on natural immunity while other countries recognized it? What does Psalm 139:14 ("I am fearfully and wonderfully made") suggest about trusting Yahuah's design of our immune systems versus always relying on pharmaceutical interventions?

Trend: Movement toward restricting religious liberty in medical decisions.
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requires employers to provide reasonable accommodation for employees' sincerely held religious beliefs, unless doing so creates "undue hardship."
The Supreme Court unanimously raised the standard for what employers must prove as "undue hardship." Employers must now show substantial cost or difficulty - not just minor inconvenience - to deny religious accommodation.
This strengthens religious exemption claims in employment contexts.

RE: Request for Religious Exemption from Vaccine Requirement
I am writing to formally request a religious exemption from [specific vaccine/requirement] based on my sincerely held religious beliefs.
Statement of Religious Beliefs:
These are not recently adopted beliefs for convenience, but sincerely held convictions rooted in Scripture that guide my daily life and have been consistently applied across many areas of my faith practice.
I respectfully request reasonable accommodation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and applicable state law.
Respectfully submitted,

This workbook does not tell anyone what medical decisions to make. The goal is informed consent - having access to all relevant information so each person can make their own decision before Yahuah according to their conscience, faith, and personal research.
Whatever you decide, make sure you are "fully persuaded in your own mind" (Romans 14:5) and at peace with your decision before the Creator.
