"Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved." — 1 Chronicles 16:30

Lesson 1: The Earth Cannot Be Moved

Scripture declares repeatedly that the earth cannot be moved. Let's examine each passage.

Scripture Study: Psalm 93:1

"The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved."
Hebrew Word Study: "Moved" = mot (Strong's #4131) = to shake, slip, totter, stagger, be displaced. "Cannot" = bal = not, never. The earth can NEVER be moved!
Psalm 96:10 - "Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved."
Psalm 104:5 - "Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever."
1 Chronicles 16:30 - "Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved."

Fill in the blanks:

1. The world is __________. It __________ be moved. (Psalm 93:1)

2. The world shall be __________. It shall __________ be moved. (Psalm 96:10)

3. Yahuah laid the __________ of the earth. It should not be __________ forever. (Psalm 104:5)

4. How many direct statements say the earth cannot be moved? __________.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. List all 4 verses that say the earth cannot be moved.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Quote one of these verses to someone and explain what "mot" means in Hebrew.

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Psalm 93:1

"The world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 2: The Foundations of the Earth

Scripture describes the earth as having foundations—not floating in space, but built on a structure.

Job 38:4-6 - "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? ... Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof?"
Construction Language: Notice the terminology: Foundations, Measures, Line (as a builder uses), Fastened, Corner stone. Would you describe a spinning ball using construction terms?
Psalm 102:25 - "Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands."
Proverbs 8:29 - "When he appointed the foundations of the earth."
2 Samuel 22:16 - "The foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD."

Fill in the blanks:

1. Yahuah laid the __________ of the earth. (Job 38:4)

2. A __________ stone was laid. (Job 38:6)

3. The foundations are __________. (Job 38:6)

4. The foundations are called __________ in Micah 6:2.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. List the construction terms used to describe the earth.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Explain to someone why Scripture uses construction language for the earth.

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Job 38:4

"Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 3: The Pillars of the Earth

In addition to foundations, Scripture describes the earth as resting on pillars.

1 Samuel 2:8 - "For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them."
Hebrew Word Study: "Pillars" = matsuq (Strong's #4690) = pillar, column, support structure. Yahuah set the world upon pillars. Does a spinning ball need pillars?
Job 9:6 - "Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble."
Psalm 75:3 - "The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah."

Fill in the blanks:

1. The __________ of the earth are Yahuah's. (1 Samuel 2:8)

2. He has set the __________ upon them.

3. The pillars __________ when Yahuah shakes the earth. (Job 9:6)

4. Yahuah bears up the __________ of the earth. (Psalm 75:3)

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. Name the 3 verses about pillars and what each says.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Ask someone: "Did you know Scripture says the earth has pillars?"

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: 1 Samuel 2:8

"For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 4: The Earth Has Ends

Scripture repeatedly refers to the "ends of the earth." A sphere has no ends.

Hebrew Word Study: "Ends" = qatseh (Strong's #7098) = end, extremity, border, outer edge, boundary. The phrase appears over 30 times!
Job 28:24 - "For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven."
Job 38:13 - "That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?"
Isaiah 40:28 - "The everlasting Elohim, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth."

Fill in the blanks:

1. Yahuah looks to the __________ of the earth. (Job 28:24)

2. The earth has ends that can be __________ of. (Job 38:13)

3. Yahuah is the Creator of the __________ of the earth. (Isaiah 40:28)

4. How many times does "ends of the earth" appear? Over __________.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. Explain why "ends" proves the earth is not a sphere.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Ask someone: "Can a sphere have ends?"

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Job 28:24

"For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 5: The Four Corners of the Earth

Scripture describes the earth as having four corners. A sphere has no corners.

Isaiah 11:12 - "And he shall... gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth."
Hebrew Word Study: "Corners" = kanaph (Strong's #3671) = corner, extremity, edge, wing, border.
Revelation 7:1 - "I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds."
Revelation 20:8 - "The nations which are in the four quarters of the earth." (Greek: gonia = corners/angles)

Fill in the blanks:

1. Yahuah will gather His people from the __________ corners. (Isaiah 11:12)

2. Four angels stand on the __________ corners. (Revelation 7:1)

3. The earth has four __________. (Revelation 20:8)

4. Can you stand on the "corner" of a sphere? __________.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. List the 3 verses about four corners.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Explain to someone what "four corners" tells us about the earth's shape.

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Revelation 7:1

"I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 6: The Circle of the Earth

Isaiah 40:22 is often misused to claim the earth is a sphere. Let's examine it carefully.

Isaiah 40:22 - "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth... that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in."
Hebrew Word Study: "Circle" = chug (Strong's #2329) = circle, circuit, compass, vault, horizon. This is a FLAT circle, like a compass face—NOT a sphere!
CRITICAL: Hebrew HAS a word for sphere/ball: "dur" (Strong's #1754). See Isaiah 22:18: "He will... toss thee like a ball." If Yahuah meant sphere, He would have used "dur," not "chug."

Fill in the blanks:

1. Yahuah sits upon the __________ of the earth.

2. The Hebrew word is __________ (Strong's #2329).

3. The Hebrew word for "ball" is __________. (Strong's #1754)

4. Does "chug" mean sphere? __________.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. Explain the difference between "chug" and "dur."

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Explain to someone why Isaiah 40:22 does NOT prove a spherical earth.

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Isaiah 40:22

"It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth... that spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 7: The Sun Moves, Not the Earth

If the earth is fixed and immovable, what moves? The sun.

Joshua 10:12-13 - "Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still in the midst of heaven."
Critical Point: If the earth rotates (causing day/night), why didn't Joshua command the EARTH to stand still? Because the SUN moves, not the earth!
Ecclesiastes 1:5 - "The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose."
Psalm 19:4-6 - "His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it."

Fill in the blanks:

1. Joshua commanded the __________ to stand still.

2. The __________ stood still in the midst of heaven.

3. The sun has a __________ (a path it travels).

4. The sun __________, __________ down, and returns.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. Explain why Joshua 10 proves the sun moves, not the earth.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Ask someone: "Why did Joshua command the sun to stop, not the earth?"

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Ecclesiastes 1:5

"The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 8: Observable Reality Confirms Scripture

What we observe with our own eyes confirms what Scripture says.

5 Key Observations:

ObservationWhat It Proves
No perceived motionWe don't feel 1,000+ mph rotation
Water finds levelOceans are flat, not curved
Horizon rises to eye levelConfirms flat plane
No Coriolis in daily lifeSnipers don't adjust for rotation
Stars circle PolarisEarth is stationary, stars move

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. List all 5 observable evidences for a fixed earth.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Explain one observable evidence to someone.

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: 1 Chronicles 16:30

"Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 9: Challenging the Heliocentric Model

Let's compare modern claims against Scripture.

Modern ClaimScripture Says
Earth rotates 1,000 mphCannot be moved (Psalm 93:1)
Earth orbits the sunSun has a circuit (Psalm 19:6)
Earth floats in spaceHas foundations & pillars (Job 38:6)
Earth has no boundariesHas ends and corners (Job 28:24)
The Choice: You must choose—believe Yahuah's Word, or believe the theories of men. There is no middle ground.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. List the 4 contradictions between Scripture and heliocentrism.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Challenge someone with these contradictions.

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Psalm 104:5

"Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever."

APPLICATION Step

Lesson 10: The Spiritual Implications

Why does it matter whether the earth moves or not?

1. Trust in Scripture

If Scripture is wrong about the earth, what else is it wrong about? Creation? The Flood? Yahusha's miracles? His resurrection?

2. The Nature of Yahuah's Creation

Fixed Earth TeachesGlobe Model Teaches
Intentional designRandom accident
Earth is centralEarth is a random speck
Man is the focusMan is insignificant

3. The Great Deception

If they can deceive you about the very ground under your feet, they can deceive you about anything. The heliocentric lie removes Yahuah from His creation.

RECALL Exercise

Close this workbook. Explain why the shape of the earth is a spiritual issue.

TEACH-BACK Challenge

Explain to someone why this matters spiritually.

Person: Date:

Scripture Memory: Psalm 96:10

"Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved."

APPLICATION Step
