"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23
Character is who you are on the inside - the choices you make even when no one is watching!
Yahuah cares about your character more than your talents or appearance. He wants to grow good fruit in your life!
Character is like a tree - it grows slowly over time. Every choice you make either makes your character stronger or weaker. What kind of tree are you growing?
1Love: Putting Others First
Definition: Choosing to care about others and do what's best for them, even when it's hard.
Love isn't just a feeling - it's an action!
"A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." - John 13:34
Bible Example: The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)
A man was robbed and left hurt on the road. Two religious leaders walked past and didn't help. But a Samaritan - someone most people didn't like - stopped, bandaged his wounds, took him to an inn, and paid for his care!
The Samaritan showed love through action.
Love looks like:
Helping others
Being kind
Sharing
Forgiving
VS
The opposite:
Being selfish
Ignoring others' needs
Holding grudges
Only caring about yourself
This Week's Challenge:
Do one secret act of kindness each day without telling anyone! Write it in your journal.
Think & Write
1. What is love (according to Scripture)?
2. How did the Good Samaritan show love?
3. Who can you show love to this week?
Memory Verse
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of Elohim." - 1 John 4:7
2Joy: Happiness That Doesn't Depend on Circumstances
Definition: Deep gladness that comes from knowing Yahuah loves you - not from getting what you want!
Joy is different from happiness. Happiness depends on what happens. Joy stays even when things are hard!
"The joy of Yahuah is your strength." - Nehemiah 8:10
Bible Example: Paul and Silas in Prison (Acts 16:22-25)
Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown into prison for preaching about Yahusha. Did they complain? No! At midnight, they were singing hymns and praising Yahuah! Their joy wasn't based on their circumstances - it came from knowing Yahuah was with them.
What Steals Our Joy?
❌ Comparing ourselves to others
❌ Complaining and grumbling
❌ Focusing on what we don't have
❌ Forgetting to thank Yahuah
What Builds Our Joy?
✅ Being thankful for what we have
✅ Remembering Yahuah's blessings
✅ Praising Yahuah even when things are hard
✅ Helping others find joy

"Rejoice in Yahuah always: and again I say, Rejoice." - Philippians 4:4
3Peace: Trusting Yahuah in Everything
Definition: A calm, secure feeling that comes from trusting Yahuah - even when things are scary or uncertain.
Peace also means living at peace with others - not fighting, arguing, or holding grudges.
"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." - Isaiah 26:3
Bible Example: Yahusha Calms the Storm (Mark 4:35-41)
The disciples were in a boat during a terrible storm. They were terrified! But Yahusha was peacefully sleeping. When they woke Him, He simply said "Peace, be still" and the storm stopped! His peace came from trusting the Father completely.
Two Kinds of Peace:
Peace WITH Yahuah
Peace FROM Yahuah
Being right with Yahuah through Yahusha
The calm feeling He gives us daily
What Robs Our Peace?
Worry about the future
Unforgiveness toward others
Trying to control everything
Forgetting Yahuah is in control
Think & Write
1. What is something you tend to worry about?
2. How can you trust Yahuah with that worry?

4Patience: Waiting Without Complaining
Definition: The ability to wait calmly, to endure difficulties without getting angry, and to keep going when things are hard.
Also called "longsuffering" - bearing with others even when they annoy us!
"But they that wait upon Yahuah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles." - Isaiah 40:31
Bible Example: Joseph's Journey (Genesis 37-50)
Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, falsely accused, and put in prison for years! But he waited patiently and trusted Yahuah. Eventually, he became second-in-command of all Egypt! His patience was rewarded.
Patience Means:
✅ Waiting without whining
✅ Not getting angry when things take time
✅ Being kind to people who annoy us
✅ Trusting Yahuah's timing is perfect
✅ Keep trying even when it's hard

"I give up!"

This week, when you have to wait for something, pray: "Yahuah, help me wait patiently and trust Your timing."
Memory Verse

5Kindness: Being Good to Everyone

"And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Elohim for Messiah's sake has forgiven you." - Ephesians 4:32
Bible Example: Ruth and Naomi (Book of Ruth)
After Ruth's husband died, she could have gone back to her own family. Instead, she stayed with her mother-in-law Naomi and said, "Where you go, I will go." She worked hard to provide food for them both. Her kindness was noticed, and Yahuah blessed her greatly!

Bible Example: Daniel Refuses to Compromise (Daniel 1)
When Daniel was taken to Babylon, he was offered the king's fancy food - but it wasn't clean according to Torah! Daniel could have just gone along with everyone else. Instead, he chose to do what was right and asked for vegetables instead. Yahuah blessed him for his goodness!
Goodness Test Questions:
Before you act, ask yourself:
🤔 Would Yahuah be pleased with this?
🤔 Would I do this if my parents were watching?
🤔 Is this honest and true?
🤔 Does this help or hurt others?
Integrity = Goodness When No One Watches
It's easy to do good when people are watching. True goodness means doing right even when you could get away with doing wrong!
What Would You Do?
You find money on the ground and see who dropped it. Do you:
A) Keep it - finder's keepers!
B) Return it to the owner

Bible Example: Moses - The Meekest Man (Numbers 12:3)
