Everything we have comes from Yahuah!

Haggai 2:8
"The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says Yahuah of hosts."

When we understand this, we treat money differently. We're not the OWNERS of our money - we're the (helpers who take care of it for Yahuah)!

REMEMBER!
I am a steward, not an owner!

Circle the Right Answer

1. Who does all the gold and silver belong to?

A) Me     B) The bank     C) Yahuah     D) The government

2. A steward is someone who:

A) Owns everything     B) Takes care of things for someone else

REMEMBER (Close your eyes!)

REPEAT - Memory Verse

A Little Story

Imagine your friend lets you borrow his bike. Now you HAVE to give it back when he asks. If you break it, you owe him a new one! When you borrow things, you become like a servant to the person you borrowed from.

What Does "Borrower" Mean?

A borrower is someone who takes something (like money) from another person and promises to give it .

The problem is: when you borrow money, you become a to whoever lent it to you!

Yahuah wants us to be FREE, not servants to debt!

What Can We Learn From a Tiny Ant?

Ants are some of the SMARTEST creatures! They don't just eat all their food right away. They it for later!

Think About It!

If you get $5:

Which person is acting like the wise ant?

Draw a picture of an ant saving food!

LESSON 4: Honest Scales and Fair Trades

Proverbs 11:1
"A FALSE balance is ABOMINATION to Yahuah, but a JUST weight is His delight."

What is a "False Balance"?

Long ago, people used scales to weigh things before they bought or sold them. Some dishonest people would cheat by using a scale that wasn't !

Yahuah HATES cheating! He loves when we are in everything we do.

Always be honest - even with money!

Example

If you find $5 on the ground, what should you do?

A HONEST person: Tries to find who lost it!

A DISHONEST person: Just keeps it without trying to find the owner.

Which Makes Yahuah Happy?

1. Cheating on a test to get a better grade   Happy / Sad

2. Giving back extra change the cashier gave by mistake   Happy / Sad

3. Telling the truth about breaking something   Happy / Sad

REMEMBER

What Are "Firstfruits"?

Firstfruits means the FIRST part of what you get. Long ago, farmers gave the first (and best!) part of their harvest to .

Put in Order (1, 2, 3)

____ Spend on things I want

____ Give to Yahuah first

____ Save some for later

REMEMBER

What should we do FIRST with our money?

LESSON 6: Don't Love Money!

1 Timothy 6:10
"For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil."

We should love Yahuah, our family, and people - NOT money!
