The Story
Long ago, there was a man named John who loved Yahusha very much. John was one of Yahusha's best friends!
One day, John was on a small island called Patmos. He was there because bad people didn't like that he talked about Yahusha.
But then something AMAZING happened! Yahusha appeared to John and showed him HEAVEN!

John wrote down everything he saw in a book called REVELATION.
Revelation means things that are "revealed" or shown to us!
John wrote the book of Revelation when he was an old man - probably over 90 years old! He loved Yahusha his whole life!

The Lesson
Yahusha shows us amazing things! Heaven is REAL and Yahusha wants us to know about it!
John was likely exiled to Patmos during the reign of Emperor Domitian (around 95 AD). Revelation is the last book of the Bible, and while it contains prophetic imagery, this workbook focuses on the hope-filled, child-appropriate aspects.
Lesson 2: Letters to the Assemblies

The Story
Yahusha told John to write SEVEN letters to His people! Each letter had a special message.
In these letters, Yahusha told His people:
Be FAITHFUL - keep trusting Me!
Be LOVING - love one another!
Be STRONG - don't give up!

Yahusha Knows Everything!
In the letters, Yahusha said: "I know your works."
This means He sees everything we do!
He knows when we try hard and when we need help.
There were SEVEN assemblies (churches) that got letters: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea!
"I know thy works... Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

Then John got to see something AMAZING - the THRONE ROOM of YAHUAH!
John looked and saw a door open in heaven. A voice said, "Come up here!"
John went through the door and saw the most BEAUTIFUL place ever!

Yahuah sits on His throne in heaven! He is Holy and deserves all our praise!
Revelation 4 describes the throne room scene. The rainbow is a reminder of Yahuah's covenant faithfulness (Genesis 9). Help your child understand that "holy" means set apart, pure, and perfectly good.
Lesson 4: The Lamb Who Won

In heaven, John saw a scroll with seven seals. No one could open it!
John started to cry because the scroll was so important. But then someone said, "Don't cry! The Lion of Judah has won! HE can open the scroll!"
John looked... and he saw a LAMB! This Lamb was YAHUSHA!

In the Bible, Yahusha is called the Lamb of Yahuah.
He is also called the Lion of Judah - the KING!
He ALREADY WON the victory over sin and death!

Yahusha promised to come back! We can be ready by loving Him and obeying Him!
The promise of Yahusha's return is central to Christian hope. Acts 1:11 confirms "this same Yahusha... shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Encourage your child to look forward to this day with joy, not fear.
