The Beginning of Everything!
Grades 1-2In this book, you will learn about the VERY BEGINNING of everything! We will discover how Yahuah created the world and all the people in it.
History is the story of what happened long, long ago. The BEST history book is the Bible! It tells us true stories about real people who lived a very long time ago.
Get ready to travel back in time!
πβ°πBefore anything existed, there was only Yahuah. Then Yahuah spoke, and everything came to be! He made the whole world in just 6 days, and on day 7, He rested.
Yahuah made everything just by SPEAKING! When He said "Let there be light," BOOM - there was light! That's how powerful our Creator is!
1. Who made everything?
2. How many days did Yahuah take to create?
days
3. What did Yahuah make on Day 6?
4. What did Yahuah do on Day 7?
Which day do you like best? Draw what Yahuah made!
Yahuah made the very first man from the dust of the ground and named him Adam. Then Yahuah made a wife for Adam from one of his ribs - her name was Eve. They lived in a beautiful garden called Eden.
The Garden of Eden was the most beautiful place ever! It had:
Adam got to NAME all the animals! Imagine seeing a giraffe for the first time and getting to decide what to call it!
Yahuah gave Adam and Eve just ONE rule: Do NOT eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. But sadly, a sneaky serpent (Satan) tricked Eve, and both Adam and Eve disobeyed Yahuah. This is called sin.
Because they sinned, Adam and Eve had to leave the beautiful garden. But Yahuah still loved them and promised to send a Savior one day (Yahusha!).
1. What was the first man's name?
2. What was the first woman's name?
3. What was the garden called?
4. What did Adam and Eve do wrong?
Draw Adam, Eve, and the beautiful garden with animals and trees.
Many years after Adam and Eve, people became very, very bad. They did not love Yahuah. But ONE man was good - his name was Noah. Yahuah told Noah to build a big boat called an ark because a great flood was coming!
The ark was HUGE - about as long as one and a half football fields! That's big enough for all those animals!
When the water went away, Noah and all the animals left the ark. Noah thanked Yahuah. Then Yahuah put a beautiful rainbow in the sky as a promise to NEVER flood the whole earth again!
1. Why did Yahuah send the flood?
2. What did Noah build?
An
3. How long did it rain?
days and nights
4. What is the rainbow a sign of?
Draw the ark with animals and a rainbow!
After the flood, Noah's family grew and grew. Soon there were LOTS of people again! But they made a bad choice - they decided to build a HUGE tower to make themselves famous instead of honoring Yahuah.
The word "Babel" sounds like the Hebrew word for "confusion." That's because Yahuah confused their languages! This is why people today speak different languages like English, Spanish, Chinese, and many more!
The people at Babel were proud. They wanted to be great without Yahuah. But Yahuah wants us to be humble and give HIM the glory!
1. What did the people want to build?
A
2. Why did they want to build it?

Yahuah chose a man named Abram (later called Abraham) for a very special job. Yahuah said, "Leave your home and go to a new land. I will make your family into a great nation!" Abraham BELIEVED Yahuah and obeyed!
Yahuah made amazing promises to Abraham:
Abraham and his wife Sarah were VERY old when they finally had their son Isaac. Abraham was 100 years old! Nothing is too hard for Yahuah!
1. What was Abraham's first name?
2. What did Yahuah tell Abraham to do?
3. What was Abraham's son's name?
4. Why is Abraham called the "Father of Faith"?
Yahuah told Abraham his family would be like the stars - too many to count!
Abraham's son Isaac grew up and married Rebekah. They had twin boys named Esau and Jacob. Jacob became the father of 12 sons - and they became the 12 tribes of Israel!
The 12 tribes of Israel are named after Jacob's 12 sons! Their names are: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin.
1. Who was Isaac's father?
2. What does "Isaac" mean?
3. What new name did Yahuah give Jacob?
4. How many sons did Jacob have?

Draw Abraham at the top, then Isaac, then Jacob, then the 12 sons!
Joseph was one of Jacob's 12 sons. His father loved him very much and gave him a beautiful colorful coat. But his brothers were jealous and did something very mean - they sold Joseph as a slave to Egypt!
Joseph went from being a slave in a pit to being the second most powerful person in Egypt! Yahuah had a plan for Joseph's life, even when things looked really bad.
Joseph forgave his brothers! He said, "You meant to hurt me, but Yahuah used it for GOOD!" Joseph's whole family - all 70 people - moved to Egypt where there was food. This is how Israel ended up in Egypt!
1. What special gift did Jacob give Joseph?
A colorful
2. What did Joseph's brothers do to him?
3. What country did Joseph go to?
