Rocks are hard, solid things from the ground. They come in many shapes, sizes, and colors!

Did you know? Sand is made of tiny, tiny pieces of rock! When big rocks break down over a long time, they become sand.

After the great Flood in Noah's time, many layers of mud and sand were laid down. These became sedimentary rocks with fossils inside!
