Plants are living things Yahuah made on Day 3. Every plant has special parts that help it live!
"And out of the ground made Yahuah Elohim to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food." - Genesis 2:9
Parts of a Plant:
Roots - Drink water from the ground (like a straw!)
Stem - Holds up the plant and moves water
Leaves - Make food using sunlight (how amazing!)
Flower - Makes seeds for new plants
Fruit - Holds the seeds and is yummy to eat!
Leaves can make food from sunlight, air, and water! Only Yahuah could design something so amazing. No factory can do what a tiny leaf does!
Yahuah made plants to give us food, medicine, beauty, and air to breathe! He thought of everything we would need!

Water - To stay healthy and alive
Air - To breathe (even fish breathe underwater!)
Shelter - A safe place to live
Fish breathe through gills! Yahuah gave them a special way to get air from water. How creative is our Creator!
A camel can go many days without water because Yahuah designed it for the desert! Its hump stores fat, not water.

A tiny apple seed can grow into a huge apple tree that makes thousands of apples with thousands more seeds! Yahuah's design is amazing!
Life always comes from life! Yahuah set this in motion at creation. A seed comes from a plant. An egg comes from an animal. Only Yahuah can create life from nothing!
