Yahuah made special rocks called magnets! Magnets have an invisible power - they can pull certain things toward them without even touching!
"He hangs the earth on nothing."
- Job 26:7
Magnets can pull things made of iron and steel. That's why a magnet sticks to your refrigerator!
The earth itself is like a GIANT magnet! That's why compass needles always point north!
Magnets have two ends called poles:
North Pole (usually marked red or N)
South Pole (usually marked blue or S)
Yahuah designed magnets to show us His invisible power! Just like we can't see magnetism but it's real, we can't see Yahuah but He is REAL!
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!
Circle the right answer:
1. What can magnets do?
2. Magnets stick to things made of:
True or False?
3. Magnets have two poles.
4. The earth is like a giant magnet.

2Magnets - Push and Pull!
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
Magnets can do TWO things - they can attract (pull together) and repel (push apart)!
When you put two magnets together, sometimes they JUMP together, and sometimes they PUSH away - even when you try to force them!
Here's the secret rule:
Opposite poles ATTRACT! (North + South = PULL together)
Same poles REPEL! (North + North = PUSH apart)
"Yahuah made everything for a purpose."
- Proverbs 16:4
Yahuah made magnetic rules that NEVER change! His laws in nature are just as dependable as His laws in Scripture!
Magnet Dance! Get two magnets and try:
Put North to South - what happens?
Put North to North - what happens?
Can you make them "dance" by pushing away?
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!
Circle the right answer:
1. What does "attract" mean?
2. North + South poles will:
3. North + North poles will:
True or False?
4. Magnets can only pull, not push.

3Sound - Vibrations We Hear!
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
When Yahuah created the world, He SPOKE it into existence! Sound is powerful!
"And Elohim SAID, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."
- Genesis 1:3
But what IS sound? Sound happens when things vibrate!
Vibrate means to shake back and forth very fast. When something vibrates, it makes the air around it shake too. Those shaking air waves travel to your ear, and you hear SOUND!
Put your hand on your throat and say "AHHHHH" - can you feel the vibrations? That's your vocal cords making sound!
See Sound!
Stretch a rubber band between your fingers
Pluck it - watch it vibrate!
Can you hear the sound it makes?
That vibration IS the sound!
Yahuah designed our ears to hear vibrations as sound! He wanted us to hear His Word, hear our parents teach us, and hear creation praise Him!
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!
Circle the right answer:
1. Sound happens when things:
2. How did Yahuah create the world?
True or False?
3. You can feel your voice vibrate in your throat.
4. A rubber band makes sound because it vibrates.
RECALL - Draw What You Learned!
Draw something making sound (like a drum, bell, or your mouth saying words!). Show the vibration lines!
RESPOND - Do It With a Parent!
4Sound - Loud and Soft!
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
Sounds can be LOUD or soft. This is called volume.
Loud sounds - Thunder! A dog barking! A shout!
Soft sounds - A whisper! A kitten purring! Leaves rustling!
"Be still, and know that I am Elohim."
- Psalm 46:10
What makes sounds loud or soft? How much something vibrates!
BIG vibrations = LOUD sounds
small vibrations = soft sounds
When you yell, your vocal cords vibrate a LOT. When you whisper, they vibrate just a little!
Sounds can also be HIGH or LOW. This is called pitch.
High pitch - A bird chirping! A whistle!
Low pitch - A rumbling truck! A big drum!
Yahuah speaks in different ways! Sometimes loud like thunder (Psalm 29:3), sometimes in a still small voice (1 Kings 19:12). He knows when we need each!
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!
Circle the right answer:
1. What makes a sound LOUD?
2. A whisper is:
3. A bird chirping is:
True or False?
4. Thunder is a soft sound.

5Light - "Let There Be Light!"
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
The very FIRST thing Yahuah made was LIGHT!
"And Elohim said, 'Let there be LIGHT!' And there was light. And Elohim saw the light, that it was good."
- Genesis 1:3-4
Light lets us see! Without light, everything would be dark.
Light travels SUPER fast - faster than anything else in the universe! It's so fast it could go around the whole earth 7 times in ONE SECOND!
Where does light come from?
The sun - Yahuah's great light for daytime
Fire and candles - give off light and heat
Light bulbs - humans use electricity to make light
Stars - Yahuah's nighttime lights
Yahusha said, "I am the light of the world!" (John 8:12). Just like light helps us see, Yahusha helps us see TRUTH!
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!
Circle the right answer:
1. What was the FIRST thing Yahuah created?
2. Light helps us:
True or False?
3. Light is very slow.
4. Yahusha called Himself "the light of the world."

6Light - Shadows and Reflections!
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
Light travels in a straight line! When something blocks the light, it makes a shadow!
Your shadow changes size during the day! In the morning and evening it's LONG. At noon it's SHORT!
Some things let light through:
Transparent - Light goes ALL the way through (like glass, water)
Translucent - Light goes SOME way through (like frosted glass, paper)
Opaque - Light can NOT go through (like you! walls! books!)
Reflections happen when light bounces off something shiny - like a mirror or calm water!
"Yahuah is my light and my salvation."
- Psalm 27:1
Yahuah made light to follow rules! It always goes straight until something blocks it or bounces it. His creation follows His laws perfectly!
Shadow Play!
Go outside on a sunny day
Find your shadow!
Make your shadow wave, jump, and dance!
What happens when you move closer to a wall?
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!

7Heat - Warm and Cool!
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
Yahuah made heat to keep us warm! The sun sends heat to the earth so we can live!
"From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of Yahuah is to be praised!"
- Psalm 113:3
Temperature tells us how hot or cold something is. We measure it with a thermometer!
Hot - fire, the sun, boiling water, ovens
Warm - your body, blankets, soup
Cool - shade, autumn air
Cold - ice, snow, refrigerators
Your body stays about the same temperature all the time - around 98 degrees! Yahuah designed your body to keep itself warm!
Heat moves from HOT things to COLD things! If you hold a cup of hot cocoa, heat moves from the cup to YOUR hands - that's why it warms you up!
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!
Circle the right answer:
1. What do we use to measure temperature?
2. Where does most of Earth's heat come from?
True or False?
3. Ice is hot.
4. Heat moves from hot things to cold things.
RECALL - Draw What You Learned!

8Motion - Things That Move!
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
Motion means something is moving! A car driving, a ball rolling, you walking - that's all motion!
Things need a push or a pull to start moving. This is called a force!
Push - You push a swing, push a door open
Pull - You pull a wagon, pull open a drawer
"The heavens declare the glory of Elohim; the skies proclaim the work of His hands."
- Psalm 19:1
The earth is ALWAYS moving! It spins around once every day, but we don't feel it because everything moves together!
Yahuah set everything in motion - the sun, moon, and stars! He keeps them all moving in perfect order!

2. To make a ball roll, you:
True or False?
3. You pull a wagon.
4. Things start moving by themselves without a push or pull.

9Gravity - What Goes Up Must Come Down!
RECEIVE - Learn About It!
Jump up! What happens? You come back DOWN! That's gravity!
Gravity is a pulling force that pulls everything toward the ground. Drop a ball - gravity pulls it down. Drop a feather - gravity pulls it down too!
"He hangs the earth on nothing."
- Job 26:7
Yahuah made gravity just RIGHT! Too much gravity and we couldn't walk. Too little and we'd float away! He made it PERFECT for us!
Gravity keeps us on the ground. It keeps water in lakes and rivers. It keeps the air around us!
Gravity shows Yahuah's wisdom! He set up invisible rules that keep everything in its place. We can trust Him to hold all things together (Colossians 1:17)!
Gravity Test!
Hold a ball and a feather up high
Drop them at the same time
Which hits the ground first?
Gravity pulls them BOTH - but the feather floats because of air!
REFLECT - Answer the Questions!
Circle the right answer:
1. Gravity is a force that:
2. When you drop a ball, what happens?
True or False?
3. Gravity keeps us on the ground.
4. If you jump up, you will keep going up forever.
RECALL - Draw What You Learned!

10Review - Yahuah's Amazing World!
RECEIVE - Remember What We Learned!
Yahuah made an AMAZING world full of forces we can learn about!
"O Yahuah, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all."
- Psalm 104:24
We learned about:
MAGNETS - Pull iron/steel, have poles, attract and repel
SOUND - Made by vibrations, can be loud/soft, high/low
LIGHT - Created first, helps us see, makes shadows
HEAT - From the sun, makes things warm, measured with thermometer
MOTION - Push and pull forces make things move
GRAVITY - Pulls everything down toward the ground
All these forces show us that Yahuah is a God of ORDER! He made rules for how things work, and they ALWAYS work the same way. We can trust Him!
REFLECT - Big Review!
Match the word to what it means:
1. Magnets can _______ certain metals.
