This workbook helps you learn about Yahuah's special celebration days! Here's how:
Did you know Yahuah has special days He wants us to celebrate with Him? These are called feasts or appointed times!
In this workbook, you will learn about:
Do you have special days in your family? Maybe birthdays or holidays when everyone gets together?
Well, Yahuah (God) has special days too! He made them for His whole family to celebrate together. These special days are called "feasts" or "appointed times."
The Hebrew word for these special times is "moed" (say it: mo-ED). It means "a meeting time with Yahuah!"
Yahuah gave us SEVEN special feast days in the Bible! Let's learn their names:
1. Passover - Remember when Yahuah saved His people!
2. Unleavened Bread - Eat special flat bread for 7 days!
3. Firstfruits - Thank Yahuah for the first crops!
4. Shavuot (Pentecost) - Celebrate getting Yahuah's Word!
5. Trumpets - Wake up! Blow the shofar (ram's horn)!
6. Day of Atonement - A special day to say sorry to Yahuah
7. Tabernacles - Camp out and have fun for a week!

2. There are TEN feasts in the Bible.
Draw a line to match:

- Leviticus 23:2
Draw a picture showing people celebrating one of Yahuah's feasts!
Long, long ago, Yahuah's people were slaves in Egypt. They had to work SO hard! They cried out to Yahuah for help.
Yahuah sent Moses to tell Pharaoh: "Let My people go!" But Pharaoh said NO!
So Yahuah sent scary things called plagues. After the last plague, Pharaoh finally let them go!
On that special night, Yahuah told each family to put lamb's blood on their door. When the angel saw the blood, he would PASS OVER that house and keep them safe!

- Exodus 12:13

After Passover comes a week of eating special bread! This bread has no yeast in it, so it's flat like a cracker.
Why flat bread? Because when the Israelites left Egypt, they were in such a hurry! They didn't have time to wait for puffy bread to rise.
For seven days, we eat this flat bread called matzah (say: MAT-zah)!
1. Unleavened bread is flat like a cracker.
2. We eat special bread for THREE days.

In the fall, there's a special day called Yom Teruah - the Day of Trumpets!

The last big feast of the year is Sukkot (say: soo-COAT) - the Feast of Tabernacles!
For seven days, people build little huts or booths and live in them! It's like camping!
Why? To remember when Yahuah's people lived in tents in the wilderness after leaving Egypt. Yahuah took care of them the whole time!
It's also a time to say THANK YOU to Yahuah for the harvest - all the food He provided!
