The prophet Daniel received visions about world empires that would rise before Yahuah's kingdom. Understanding Daniel helps us understand Revelation.

Revelation 13 expands on Daniel's vision, showing us more details about the beast system.
This beast combines ALL FOUR of Daniel's beasts (lion, bear, leopard, ten horns). It represents the culmination of all worldly empires opposing Yahuah!

Revelation 13:11-18 introduces a second beast that works with the first.
Revelation 13:16-17: "And he causeth all... to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark."
The mark involves: (1) the right hand OR forehead, (2) inability to buy or sell without it, (3) a choice of allegiance.
