Daniel's Statue - World Empires Revealed by Yahuah
This workbook uses the 6Rs Learning Method:
Daniel was a teenager (probably around 15-17 years old) when he was taken captive from Jerusalem to Babylon around 605 BC. Even though he was a prisoner in a foreign land, he stayed faithful to Yahuah!
1. Daniel was taken captive to __________ around 605 BC.
2. Daniel wrote both historical stories and __________.
3. Daniel's prophecies prove that __________ knows the future.
Write 3 facts about Daniel from memory:
"There is an Elah in heaven that reveals secrets."
King Nebuchadnezzar had a troubling dream but couldn't remember it! He demanded his wise men tell him both the dream AND what it meant. Impossible, right? But Daniel prayed, and Yahuah revealed everything!
| Body Part | Metal | Kingdom |
|---|---|---|
| Head | Gold | Babylon |
| Chest & Arms | Silver | Medo-Persia |
| Belly & Thighs | Bronze | Greece |
| Legs | Iron | Rome |
| Feet | Iron & Clay | Divided Nations |
What kingdom was represented by the head of gold?
1. The chest and arms were made of __________.
2. The legs of iron represented __________.
3. Yahuah revealed the dream to __________.
List the 5 parts of the statue and what kingdoms they represent:
Draw the statue and explain it to someone!
Who did you teach? Date:
"The Elah of heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed."
Here's the amazing part: Daniel wrote this prophecy around 550 BC, and every kingdom happened exactly as predicted!
| Kingdom | Dates | How Long After Daniel? |
|---|---|---|
| Babylon (Gold) | 605-539 BC | Already ruling |
| Medo-Persia (Silver) | 539-331 BC | ~11 years later |
| Greece (Bronze) | 331-168 BC | ~220 years later |
| Rome (Iron) | 168 BC-476 AD | ~380 years later |
What does the stone represent? Why is this prophecy proof that Yahuah is real?
Years later, Daniel had his own vision. Instead of a beautiful statue, he saw four scary beasts! Same prophecy, different perspective.
| Beast | Description | Kingdom |
|---|---|---|
| Lion with eagle wings | Wings plucked, made to stand like a man | Babylon |
| Bear raised on one side | Three ribs in its mouth | Medo-Persia |
| Leopard with 4 wings | Four heads | Greece |
| Terrifying beast | Iron teeth, 10 horns | Rome |
After Alexander the Great died, his Greek empire was divided among his four generals! The prophecy predicted this split!
1. The lion represented __________.
2. The leopard had __________ heads (representing Greece splitting).
3. The terrifying beast with iron teeth was __________.
4. Man sees kingdoms as glorious; Yahuah sees them as __________.
Name the 4 beasts and what kingdoms they represent:
Explain why Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 are the same prophecy from different views.
Who did you teach? Date:
"The kingdom... shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High."
This is the most amazing prophecy in the Bible! Daniel predicted the exact year when Messiah would come!
457 BC + 483 years = 27 AD
What happened in 27 AD? Yahusha was baptized and began His ministry!
The word "Messiah" means "Anointed One" — Yahusha was anointed at His baptism!
| Event | Calculation | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Decree to rebuild | Starting point | 457 BC |
| Messiah appears | 457 BC + 483 years | 27 AD |
| Messiah "cut off" | Middle of final week | 31 AD |
Yahusha was crucified in 31 AD — exactly as predicted!
What does "Messiah" mean?
1. 70 weeks of years = __________ years total.
2. The decree to rebuild Jerusalem was in __________ BC.
3. Yahusha began His ministry in __________ AD.
4. This prophecy predicted when __________ would come.
Explain the 70 weeks prophecy and how it proves Yahusha is the Messiah:
This is a powerful prophecy to share! Teach it to someone.
Who did you teach? Date:
"Know and understand, from the going forth of the commandment... unto Messiah the Prince."
Daniel 12 talks about what will happen at the very end of history — and it's exciting!
These signs are happening NOW more than ever in history!
1. At the end, Michael shall __________ up.
2. Many that sleep in the __________ shall awake.
3. __________ shall be increased in the end times.
List 4 things that will happen at the time of the end:
"They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament."
So what does all this mean for YOU today?
1. How has studying Daniel changed how you see the Bible?
2. How can you use Daniel's prophecies to help others believe in Yahuah?
3. What does it mean to you that we're living in the "feet" of the statue?
List 5 things you learned from studying Daniel:
Share the most important thing you learned from Daniel with someone!
Who did you teach? Date:
