Did you know the ancient Hebrew alphabet was made of pictures? Each letter told a story! When you put letters together to make words, the pictures create hidden messages.

The name of Yahuah (YHWH) in picture letters spells out: "Look at the Hand, Look at the Nail" - describing Yahusha on the cross thousands of years before it happened!

The language itself tells us about Yahuah and His plan to save us!

Letters That Are Pictures!

Long ago, Hebrew was written using simple pictures. Each letter was a drawing of something real:

FUN FACT!

The Dead Sea Scrolls (really old Bible copies) show Yahuah's name written in the OLD picture style, even when the rest was written in the newer style. They kept His name special!

Why Learn This?

When you put picture letters together, they create "word pictures" that tell us more about what words really mean! Hebrew names often tell us about the person's character or destiny.

KEY IDEA

Hebrew is written right-to-left (opposite of English!), and most words are built on 3-letter roots. Each letter has a picture, a name, a meaning, a sound, and a number value!

ALEPH (א) - The Ox Head

Aleph means "ox" - strong and powerful! It represents Yahuah or strength.

The father is the strong leader of the home!

VAV (ו) = The Connector

Vav looks like a tent . In Hebrew, it means "and" - connecting things together. Some believers see it pointing to the that held Yahusha to the cross!

In ancient times, Tav was drawn like an X or + - a cross mark!

In Ezekiel 9:4, Yahuah puts a "mark" (Tav) on the foreheads of the . The ancient Tav looked like a ! This points to Revelation 7 where believers are sealed on their foreheads!

EMET (אמת) = "Truth"

Truth uses: Aleph (first letter) + Mem (middle letter) + Tav (last letter)

Truth covers EVERYTHING from first to last!
