True Science Series
You've probably been told that evolution is "science" and creation is just "religion."
What if the opposite is true?
In this workbook, you'll learn about real scientific laws that evolution actually breaks! You'll see quotes from famous scientists themselves admitting the problems.
Don't just take our word for it. Look at the evidence!
This workbook uses the 6 Rs Method to help you really understand and remember what you learn:
Life Only Comes From Life
Life comes only from life.
This isn't a religious idea - it's a proven scientific law!
In the 1800s, scientists wanted to know: Can life appear from nothing? Does rotting meat create flies?
Louis Pasteur did an experiment that proved the answer once and for all.
Evolution needs life to start from non-living chemicals. This is called "."
But the Law of Biogenesis says this is impossible!
1. The Law of Biogenesis says:
○ A) Life can come from chemicals
○ B) Life comes only from life
○ C) Evolution is true
○ D) Matter creates itself
2. Pasteur's experiment proved:
○ A) Life can pop into existence
○ B) Rotting meat creates flies
○ C) Life only comes from existing life
○ D) Evolution is real
1. Scientists have created life from non-life in labs.
○ True ○ False
2. The Law of Biogenesis has been proven wrong many times.
○ True ○ False
Without looking, write down:
Explain the Law of Biogenesis to a friend or family member. Can you explain why it's a problem for evolution?

Why a "Primordial Soup" Doesn't Work
You've probably seen pictures of early Earth with lightning hitting pools of water, creating the first life. This is called the "primordial soup" idea.
Water actually destroys the building blocks of life!
In water, amino acids (which make up proteins) tend to apart, not come together.
This process is called hydrolysis.
When scientists try to recreate "early Earth conditions," they don't get life. They get and useless gunk!
1. In water, amino acids tend to:
○ A) Form proteins easily
○ B) Break apart
○ C) Create DNA
○ D) Multiply quickly
2. Lab experiments trying to create life actually produce:
○ A) Living cells
○ B) Working proteins
○ C) Tar and useless chemicals
○ D) DNA
What is the water paradox? Why can't life form in water?
Even the "Simplest" Life is Mind-Blowingly Complex
Scientists have studied the simplest living things on Earth. Even the tiniest living cell needs:
What are the chances of even ONE useful protein forming by accident?
Scientists calculated: The chance of getting one working protein by random chance is about 1 in 1077.
That's a 1 with zeros after it!
For comparison, there are only about 1080 atoms in the entire observable universe.
1. The minimum genes needed for life is approximately:
○ A) 10
○ B) 50
○ C) 473
○ D) 5
2. The probability of one protein forming by chance is:
○ A) 50/50
○ B) 1 in 1,000
○ C) 1 in 1077 (basically impossible)
○ D) Very likely
What makes even "simple" life incredibly complex? Why is random chance not a good explanation?
Explain to someone why even the simplest life is too complex to happen by accident.

The Famous Experiment That Textbooks Still Use (But Shouldn't)
In 1952, Stanley Miller did an experiment where he zapped gases with electricity. He got some amino acids. Textbooks say this proves life could form by itself.
Miller used gases that we now know Earth's early atmosphere .
He left out oxygen because oxygen would have destroyed any amino acids instantly!
Miller used a special trap to immediately remove amino acids from the energy source.
Without the trap, they would have been as fast as they formed.
In nature, there would be no trap!
He got mostly (useless gunk), not life-building materials.
The amino acids he got were the wrong types - not the kind life uses!
1. Miller's experiment used an atmosphere that:
○ A) Matched early Earth exactly
○ B) Was based on wrong assumptions
○ C) Is the same as today's
○ D) Had lots of oxygen
2. The main product of Miller's experiment was:
○ A) Living cells
○ B) DNA
○ C) Tar and useless amino acids
○ D) Proteins
List the three problems with the Miller-Urey experiment:
Everything Falls Apart - It Doesn't Build Itself Up
In any system, things tend to go from order to disorder.
This is called entropy - the universe is constantly running down.
Evolution says things went from: Simple → , Less info → More info, Disorder → Order
But the Second Law says things go the direction!
"But Earth gets energy from the sun!"
True, but energy alone doesn't create order:
You need: Energy + A mechanism + Information telling it what to build
1. The Second Law says that disorder (entropy):
○ A) Decreases over time
○ B) Increases over time
○ C) Stays the same
○ D) Creates order
2. Adding energy to a system:
○ A) Automatically creates order
○ B) Does NOT automatically create order
○ C) Creates life
○ D) Proves evolution
Explain the Second Law and why energy alone can't create order.
Use the "tornado in a junkyard" example to explain this to someone.

DNA is a Code - Codes Need a Coder
DNA contains information - it's literally a language system with instructions for building life.
Where do codes and languages come from?
We have NEVER observed a code or language arising from processes.
Information always comes from intelligence. Always.
1. DNA is best described as:
○ A) Random chemicals
○ B) An information/language system
○ C) Simple molecules
○ D) Unorganized matter
2. All observed codes and languages come from:
○ A) Random chance
○ B) Natural processes
○ C) Intelligence
○ D) Time alone
Why does DNA prove intelligent design? What do all codes have in common?
"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
When All the Animals Showed Up at Once
In a layer of rock called the Cambrian, almost all major types of animals appear - all at once!
| Evolution Predicts | Fossil Record Shows |
|---|---|
| Slow, changes | Sudden appearance |
| Simple to complex | Complex from the start |
| Lots of transitional forms | No transitional forms |
Darwin hoped scientists would find the missing transitional fossils.
They never have.
1. The Cambrian Explosion shows:
○ A) Slow, gradual evolution
○ B) Sudden appearance of complex life
○ C) Simple organisms only
○ D) Many transitional fossils
2. Darwin said sudden appearance would be:
○ A) Proof of evolution
○ B) Expected
○ C) Fatal to his theory
○ D) Unimportant
What is the Cambrian Explosion? Why is it a problem for evolution?
When Something is Mathematically Impossible
Hoyle calculated the probability of just ONE simple enzyme forming by chance:
1 in 1040,000
Mathematician Emile Borel said: Any event with probability worse than 1 in 1050 is mathematically impossible.
Life forming by chance: 1 in 1040,000
That's far, FAR beyond impossible!
1. According to Borel's threshold, an event with probability worse than 1 in 1050 is:
○ A) Likely
○ B) Possible with enough time
○ C) Mathematically impossible
○ D) Guaranteed
2. Hoyle's tornado-junkyard analogy illustrates:
○ A) That evolution is possible
○ B) How absurd random-chance origin of life is
○ C) That time solves everything
○ D) That order comes from chaos
What is Hoyle's analogy? What is Borel's threshold?
You've learned 8 major scientific problems with evolution. Pick your favorite 3 and explain them to someone!
