How Mainstream Christianity Fell Away From Torah
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition." 2 Thessalonians 2:3
The falling away is not future. It happened. The church fell away from Torah into paganism. What began as a community of Sabbath-keeping, Torah-observant, feast-celebrating believers in Yahusha became an institution that rejected everything He actually practiced and taught.
Claims to follow Messiah while teaching "the law is abolished." Directly contradicts Matthew 5:17-19.
Sunday instead of Sabbath. Changed by Rome at the Council of Laodicea (364 AD). No scriptural authority.
Christmas (winter solstice) and Easter (Ishtar/fertility) instead of Yahuah's feasts (Passover, Tabernacles).
Replaced Yahuah and Yahusha with titles and transliterations that strip the original Hebrew meaning.
"The law is done away with." "We're under grace, not law." This is the exact lawlessness (anomia) Yahusha warned about.
"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof." (2 Timothy 3:5) Church attendance without obedience.
"Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work LAWLESSNESS." Matthew 7:22-23
The Greek word is anomia. Without law. Torah-less.
These are not atheists. These are not pagans who never heard the gospel. These are churchgoers who prophesied, cast out demons, and did mighty works IN HIS NAME. And He rejects them. Why? Because they practiced anomia. Lawlessness. They rejected Torah while claiming to serve Him.
"Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he as Elohim sitteth in the temple of Elohim, shewing himself that he is Elohim." 2 Thessalonians 2:4
"And for this cause Elohim shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie." 2 Thessalonians 2:11
Verse 11 ("the lie") refers BACK to verse 4. The lie is exalting a man as Elohim. The Pope claiming the title "Holy Father" and "Vicar of Christ" (in place of Christ). A man sitting in the seat that belongs to Yahuah alone.
"And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Revelation 17:5
The Catholic Church. The original institution that absorbed paganism, rejected Torah, and established the counterfeit system.

They left Rome but kept Rome's practices. Incomplete reformation.
You cannot follow someone while rejecting everything they practiced.
"Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Revelation 18:4
Notice: Yahuah still has people INSIDE Babylon. "My people." They are sincere. They love Him. But they are in a system built on pagan foundations, and He is calling them out.
Coming out means returning to Torah. Keeping the Sabbath. Observing the feasts. Using the sacred names. Rejecting the pagan holidays and practices that the beast system substituted. It means following Yahusha by actually living the way He lived.
