ALL TORAH REMAINS BINDING

Not Just Ten Commandments - The Entire Law of Yahuah

YAHUSHA DID NOT COME TO DESTROY THE TORAH LAW

MATTHEW 5:17-19

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

KEY TRUTH #1: "Not One Jot or Tittle"

Yahusha explicitly states that NOT ONE JOT OR TITTLE (the smallest Hebrew letters) shall pass from the Torah law until heaven and earth pass away. Since heaven and earth remain, ALL of Torah observance remains in effect for believers - not just the Ten Commandments.

WHAT "FULFILL" THE TORAH ACTUALLY MEANS

ROMANS 3:31

"Do we then make void the law through faith? Yahuah forbid: yea, we establish the law."

The word "fulfill" (Greek: pleroo) means to fill up completely, to make full. Yahusha came to show us the FULL meaning and proper Torah observance, not to abolish it. He corrected man-made traditions that violated Torah law, but never abolished Torah observance itself.

Examples of Yahusha "Fulfilling" Torah:

THE APOSTLES PRACTICED FULL TORAH OBSERVANCE

ACTS 21:24

"Take them, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law."

ADDRESSING COMMON OBJECTIONS

❌ "We're under grace, not law"

TRUTH: Grace and law work together, not against each other. Grace enables us to keep the law, it doesn't abolish it. Romans 6:15 asks "shall we sin because we're under grace?" and answers "Yahuah forbid!" Since sin is transgression of the law (1 John 3:4), we still need the law to define righteousness.

❌ "Christ is the end of the law" (Romans 10:4)

TRUTH: The Greek word "telos" means goal, purpose, or completion - not termination. Christ is the GOAL of the law, the one it pointed to. The law pointed to Him, and now through Him we can properly fulfill its righteous requirements (Romans 8:4).

❌ "Acts 15 says Gentiles only need 4 things"

TRUTH: Read verse 21! These were STARTER requirements for new Gentile converts, because "Moses is preached in every city" - they would learn the rest of Torah gradually in the synagogues. These 4 things were the minimum needed to fellowship with Jewish believers immediately.

❌ "The handwriting of ordinances was nailed to the cross" (Col 2:14)

TRUTH: The "handwriting" (cheirographon) refers to the certificate of debt - our record of lawbreaking, not the law itself. What was nailed to the cross was our GUILT under the law, not the law that defines righteousness. The context (verses 16-17) shows Paul defending Torah observance!

THE NEW COVENANT INCLUDES TORAH

JEREMIAH 31:31-33

"Behold, the days come, saith YAHUAH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah... I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people."

New Covenant = Torah Written on Hearts

The New Covenant doesn't eliminate Torah - it INTERNALIZES it! Instead of external stone tablets, Yahuah writes His law on our hearts through the Holy Spirit. This makes us WANT to obey, giving us both the desire and power to keep Torah.

GENTILES GRAFTED INTO ISRAEL

ROMANS 11:17-24

"And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree..."

EPHESIANS 2:11-12, 19

"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh... That at that time ye were without Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise... Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of Elohim."

Gentiles who come to faith are grafted into Israel and become "fellowcitizens" with the saints. As citizens of Israel, we live by Israel's constitution - the Torah!

TORAH IN THE MILLENNIAL KINGDOM

ISAIAH 2:2-3

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of YAHUAH's house shall be established in the top of the mountains... and many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHUAH, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of YAHUAH from Jerusalem."

ZECHARIAH 14:16-19

"And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, YAHUAH of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles..."

In the Millennial Kingdom, Torah will go forth from Zion and all nations will be required to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. If Torah were abolished, why would it be the law in Messiah's kingdom?

PRACTICAL TORAH OBSERVANCE TODAY

⚠️ Start Slowly and Learn Gradually

Don't try to keep all 613 commandments immediately. Many apply only to priests, Temple service, or life in the land of Israel. Start with the basics and grow in understanding.

Priority Areas for Beginners:

  1. Sabbath: Friday sunset to Saturday sunset - rest and worship
  2. Dietary Laws: Avoid pork, shellfish, and other unclean animals
  3. Holy Days: Learn and observe Passover, Pentecost, Tabernacles
  4. Sexual Purity: Biblical standards for relationships and marriage
  5. Honesty: Truthfulness in business and personal dealings
  6. Love: Loving Yahuah with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself
  7. Justice: Fair treatment of others, especially the poor and widows
  8. Tzitzit: Wearing fringes as reminders of the commandments

What We Can't Keep Today:

THE BLESSING OF TORAH OBEDIENCE

PSALM 119:97-99

"O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation."

DEUTERONOMY 28:1-2

"And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of YAHUAH thy Elohim, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that YAHUAH thy Elohim will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee..."

REVELATION 22:14

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."
