The Corrected Framework: 476 / 538 / 800. Two Beasts. Two Wounds. Two Healings.

The Sea Beast: Political Rome

Revelation 13:1-2 describes a beast rising from the sea with the attributes of ALL four Daniel 7 beasts combined. Body of a leopard (Greece), feet of a bear (Medo-Persia), mouth of a lion (Babylon). This is the composite of all pagan empires culminating in Rome.

"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy." Revelation 13:1

Daniel 2 confirms the same sequence. Nebuchadnezzar's statue: head of gold (Babylon), chest of silver (Medo-Persia), belly of bronze (Greece), legs of iron (Rome), feet of iron mixed with clay (Rome divided). The beast IS the entire imperial system, with Rome as its final form.

The Corrected Timeline

The standard Protestant historicist view places the wound at 538 and the healing at 1798. This is incomplete. The text of Revelation 13 shows the wound existed WHEN the beast rose, not after. The corrected framework places the wound at 476, the image at 538, and the healing at 800.

476 AD
Imperial Head Wounded
  • Western Roman Empire falls. Romulus Augustulus deposed.
  • The last emperor named after Rome's first king, Romulus. The name bookends the empire.
  • The imperial head receives its deadly wound. Political Rome ceases to exist.
Revelation 13:3a "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death."
476 AD
The Earth Beast Rises
  • The Church rises to fill the political vacuum left by Rome's fall.
  • The earth beast has TWO HORNS LIKE A LAMB: Byzantium (political) + Church (religious).
  • These two powers work together, appearing to serve Yahuah (lamb-like) but speaking as a dragon.
  • This parallels Media-Persia (two horns, two powers issuing decrees) from Daniel 8:20.
  • The earth beast CREATED the image, just as Byzantium + Church created the papal office.
Revelation 13:11 "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
538 AD
Image of the Beast Created
  • Justinian's decree establishes papal supremacy. The Ostrogoths are defeated, removing the last obstacle.
  • The Pope receives civil and religious authority. The Roman "imago" (image of the emperor) is recreated in religious form.
  • The image is not technology or AI. It is a MAN who represents Rome's authority.
  • Pattern: Yahusha is the image of the invisible Yahuah (Colossians 1:15). The Pope is the image of the invisible beast system. The image makes the invisible visible.
  • He sits in the temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim (2 Thessalonians 2:4). Calls himself "Holy Father" in violation of Matthew 23:9.
  • The 1,260 years of tribulation begin here.
Revelation 13:14-15 "Saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast... and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."
800 AD
Wound Healed
  • Pope Leo III crowns Charlemagne as Roman Emperor on Christmas Day.
  • The imperial head is revived. The Holy Roman Empire is born.
  • The papacy gave "breath" to the image of the beast. Political Rome lives again through the church.
Revelation 13:3b "And his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."

Two Beasts, Two Wounds, Two Healings

The beast (political Rome) and the image (the Papacy) are DISTINCT entities. Both experienced wound/healing cycles. Both interpretations coexist because Scripture presents two distinct entities. The 476/800 cycle is the original fulfillment. The 1798/1929 cycle is a repeat of the pattern.

Beast (Political Rome)

476 AD: Wounded
Western Roman Empire falls. Romulus Augustulus deposed. The imperial head receives its deadly wound.
800 AD: Healed
Charlemagne crowned Roman Emperor by the Pope. The Holy Roman Empire restores the imperial head.

Image of the Beast (Papacy)

1798 AD: Wounded
Napoleon's general Berthier takes Pope Pius VI captive. Papal states dissolved. The image receives its wound.
1929 AD: Healed
Lateran Treaty restores Vatican sovereignty. The image of the beast is healed and restored to power.

What the Beast Changed

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws." Daniel 7:25

Times Changed

  • Sabbath (7th day) moved to Sunday (1st day)
  • Passover replaced with Easter
  • Feast of Tabernacles replaced with Christmas
  • Biblical calendar (lunar) replaced with Roman calendar (solar)
  • Biblical new year (Aviv/Spring) replaced with January 1

Law Changed

  • Removed the 2nd Commandment (graven images) from Catholic catechism
  • Split the 10th Commandment into two to maintain the count of ten
  • Taught that Torah was "nailed to the cross"
  • Replaced Torah with church tradition and papal authority

The Counterfeit Signs

The church's sacramental system constitutes the prophesied deception. The "fire from heaven" is not literal fire. It is counterfeit spiritual authority, signs and wonders that appear divine but serve the beast system.

"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles." Revelation 13:13-14
Transubstantiation. The claim that bread and wine literally become the body and blood of the Messiah at the priest's command.
Relics. Body parts and objects of saints venerated as having miraculous power. A form of idolatry.
Indulgences. Purchasing the forgiveness of sins. The power to pardon sin belongs to Yahuah alone.
Excommunication. The claim to bar someone from salvation. No man holds this authority.
Marian Apparitions. Visions and miracles attributed to Mary that draw worship away from the Father.
Papal Infallibility. The doctrine that the Pope cannot err when speaking on faith and morals. Only Scripture is infallible.
